Fuel Efficient Driving Experience
The Fuel-Efficient Driving Experience involves ten teams navigating their way to a number of checkpoints in and around Edinburgh in order to demonstrate the difference that efficient driving techniques make to fuel consumption.
The Energy Saving Trust will first brief teams on how to drive fuel efficiently, before they take to the roads in the same make and model of car, provided by leasing company ING Car Lease.
O2 will supply tracking data - making sure that teams stick to the pre-set route.
After the experience has been completed, the data will then be measured and analysed by Millbrook Laboratories, one of Europe’s leading organisations for the testing, development and demonstration of vehicles, to determine which team was the most fuel-efficient. The results will be announced after lunch.
