Vauxhall are delighted to be attending GreenFleet Scotland event at Ingliston, Edinburgh for the first time.  We are committed to offering customers a class leading range of efficient and exciting vehicles which are economical.

The ground breaking Vauxhall Ampera will be available to drive and will be the first extended-range electric vehicle (E-REV) available in the UK.  With its technologically advanced plug-in ‘Voltec’ propulsion system the Ampera is ideally suited to everyday driving.   The lithium-ion battery can be charged in less than 4 hours, offering up to 50 miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.  For longer journeys, unlike other Electric Vehicles, there is no range anxiety, as the onboard generator extends the range up to a further 310 miles, without the need to recharge or refuel.

Also available will be models from our ecoFLEX car and van line up, which are the best selling and broadest range of ‘eco’ badged vehicles available from any manufacturer. 

Vauxhall offers eight models, which emit less than 100g/km and are exempt from the London Congestion Charge.  The Congestion Charge-beaters start with the New Corsa 1.3CDTi 16v (95PS) ecoFLEX Start/Stop, which emits just 94g/km and 78.5mpg on the combined cycle and up to 91.1mpg on the extra-urban cycle.
